A game made for the thatgamecompany x COREBLAZER Game Jam 2025

Play as an interstellar wanderer on a personal quest to keep the sky shining. Vela is a third-person atmospheric adventure game where you restore a constellation and float through an abandonned flooded planet. Express your generosity toward nature's starry world and creatures to form new connections and prevent the night sky from going out.

Brighten up the world with your light

Spread your light to unlock new paths. With your fishing rod, cast light rays on forgotten walls and memorial to restore what's left. Your light is all that's needed to forge back pillars and broken bridges of the past.

Save extinct star companions

On your path lays 4 fallen stars that lost their light. Once you help them glow again, your stellar companions will follow you around as you progress in your journey. Cute, colorful, and playful, these little creatures will go wherever you guide them. .. And they especially looove eating flowers and jumping on ring buoys.

Dive into a floaded planet

Explore a rich and deep oceanic world constructed with environmental storytelling. Find drawings, memorials, astronomical observatories, and lighthouses to piece back what was left, all while your star companions will help you jump to higher grounds.
